About this journal
This is a record of one ordinary backyard and the flowers that pass through it: the wisteria that came with the house, the tulips I plant every November and grade every April, the azaleas, the roses, the tree peony, and the squirrel who audits all of it.
I started writing things down because I kept forgetting — when the cherry peaked, which bulbs the squirrels stole, which rose sulked and which one forgave me. The photos are all mine, taken in and around this garden with my phone, usually in slippers.
About the product links
Some posts include a small "From my garden shed" box with links to Amazon for tools and supplies I actually use. These are affiliate links: as an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases, at no extra cost to you. That's the only sponsorship of any kind on this site — nobody sends me free trowels. (Yet.)
